Adding Lines of Text

You can insert lines of text (song titles or comments) between lines of music in your song.

To insert a text line:

Place the song-position cursor at the point in your song where you want to insert or replace a text line.
Open the Text Line window via the Text > Text Line menu command.
In the Text Line window, type your text in the Text edit box.
The Font box displays the current font. If you want to change the font, click the Change... button to open the Font window.
If you like, change the Alignment (Left, Center, or Right).
Click the Apply button to place your text line into your song.

Your text line appears in the main song window on the line containing the cursor, unless that line already contains chords. In that case ChordSong inserts your text line above the current line.
