Updating ChordSong

We are continually improving ChordSong, so if you have an older "build" (version) of ChordSong, you might want to download and install the latest build of ChordSong.

Some upgrades are free. If you already have a license code for an "old" build of ChordSong, it will still work with the latest build of ChordSong. If you don't have a license code, then you will need to buy a license code to switch ChordSong out of Demo Mode.

The improvements in successive builds are listed below. To see what build of ChordSong you already have, use ChordSong's Help > About menu command.

Improvements:

We now digitally sign the ChordSong Setup program for greater security when you download it from our Web site.
If your song has a melody staff, we no longer display the "beat hash marks" staff. This takes less page space so more of your song fits on your screen.

Fixed a Microsoft .NET Framework bug: Earlier builds did not work with Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.0; they only worked with version 1.1 of the Framework. Now Chord works with either version (1.0 or 1.1) of the .NET Framework.

Fixes a minor but annoying editing bug which was introduced in build 107: When the user placed the first chord on an empty line, the current-position cursor didn't jump to the end of the newly created measure as it should have.
